As one of millions of Americans without medical health plans, I'm keeping track of the health reform legislation signed into law by President Obama. But with the Republicans and Big Insurance blocking it wherever they're able, though the legislation continues to jump through the hoops it must jump through, I have to admit I've become discouraged.

Will medical health plans ever be within my reach? I'm like a gospel singer, crooning, "How long will be too long?"

I read this Q&A on the White House website today:

Q: Can I afford coverage? A: Clearly, the system we have today is broken. If you don’t have health coverage, there’s no limit on how much insurance companies can charge you, and they can decide to refuse to sell you a policy at their whim. Health insurance reform will change all of that. For the first time in history, there will be limits on how much anyone will have to pay to receive health care coverage. And depending upon your income, you may be among the tens of millions of Americans who will get a tax credit to to help pay for your coverage. And for the first time in history, insurance companies will no longer be allowed to simply tell you “no”. They will be required to offer coverage regardless of your health status, and they cannot jack up rates or drop you from your coverage when you get sick.

Well, that's something. But it's not free universal health care. I feel like it's time for me to face reality and try to find the care I need now.

Before I discovered Quality Health, I didn't know that discount medical health plans existed. The White House might want to note it in their Q&A--something you can actually take advantage of now.

I recently got a new job, and after months of unemployment, I was thrilled. Steady income was enough to put me on cloud 9, and then I was told I would have health benefits, I went through the roof! I had been going through such hard times and it seemed like finally I would be getting the things I deserved. My job is great and I feel so fortunate to have one, but unfortunately, the benefits I was given hardly are enough to cover my family in addition to myself. So instead of living life underinsured, I decided to look into a discount health plan from Q Health to supplement my current insurance. I needed something affordable, that would cover the areas that my current plan wasn’t covering.

For instance, my son needed glasses desperately, but under my current plan, vision for my dependents wasn’t covered. With Q Health, the Basic package was exactly what I was looking for. It is $24.95 for the whole family and allows us to get discounts on nearly everything we need. Signing up was a breeze which I truly appreciated. But in my opinion, the best part is, there’s no need to file any claim forms or wait to get the discounts. You get your savings when you pat for your services. A discount health plan from Q Health is truly ideal for anyone like me looking for a little extra savings!

If you’re thinking about signing up for discount health care with Qualified Health, there are probably a lot of questions running through your mind. After all, signing up for a discount health plan, or any health plan for that matter, can be a little tricky and you really should do your research before you commit to anything. Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions about Qualified Health and the discount medical plan card.

1) How Does Ones Get the Qualified Health Savings?

3) What are the Q Health Pharmacy Savings?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 2 million people quit their jobs in April, which is the highest number of resignations in more than a year. It was also reported that 1.75 million people were laid off in April, the fewest since January 2007. This is good news for the economy as many theorists believe that resignations outnumber layoffs in a healthy economy.

This could be attributed to many people taking jobs they are over qualified for during the recession, and now that the economy is showing a bit more vitality, they can move on to better opportunities. It can also be that workers are fed up being overwhelmed and overworked due to layoffs that decreased staff and increased their workloads. Whatever the reason it’s good to see the economy is showing signs of health once again. If you are unhappy with your current job and are thinking of quitting but don’t want to lose your benefits, you can always look into a discount health plan from Q Health. A discount medical plan is ideal for those looking for cheaper ways to get medical treatment while in between jobs, and the funds are low.

Lady Gaga said last week at Larry King that Lupus runs in her family and she’s been tested as “borderline positive” for the disease. Lady Gaga might not need a discount health plan, but many Americans who suffer from Lupus are uninsured.

And Lupus is a disease that has to be controlled and monitored regularly. Lady Gaga’s mother said that Lupus runs in her family, and Gaga herself commented that “the truth is, I don't show any signs, ah, any symptoms of Lupus. But I have tested borderline positive for the disease. So, as of right now, I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself."

There are around one and a half million Americans who have Lupus, most them are women who are more vulnerable for the condition. Lupus is believed to be hereditary and causes the immune system to attack healthy body tissue. The symptoms of Lupus vary from one person to another, but the main affects of Lupus are joint pain, arthritis and inflammation.

Having a discount health plan is very important when dealing with the condition, which has no cure, but can be treated and controlled by self care and medication.

If you’re looking for a discount health care, for any condition or just for that peace of mind, visit Qhealth discount health care today!

I’m an artist. This is what I’m trying to remember to say when people ask me what I do, rather than letting them know the latest in my string of employment endeavors. Waitress-on-wheels isn’t the real me, see? A girl’s gotta bring home the bacon somehow while she’s waiting for the paint on the canvas to dry. Of course this also means I’m seriously in the market for a cheap health plan.

A cheap health plan for me has historically consisted of what’s available in generic form at my drugstore, trying to get enough sleep, and wearing sunscreen when I go outside. I cross my fingers when someone near me sneezes. I knock a lot of wood. Basically, I’ve just had to hope that no serious issue crops up before Obama Health Care goes through all the hoops it needs to and I am finally able to see a real doctor without owing my firstborn to the credit card company.

This was all manageable until, um, that firstborn suggested he or she might like to join the party. Now what? I'm happy, but scared. I’ve got all kinds of ideas on how I want to paint the nursery, but I need a cheap health plan, quick. Which is how I found my way to Qualified Health. And suddenly I think this might be manageable, too.

After I lost my health insurance coverage, I was really concerned that I wasn’t going to be able to get any medical health plans. Besides their being totally out of my price range, in their eyes I had pre-existing conditions and would be denied coverage. It was totally heartbreaking to realize that I needed my prescriptions and to see a doctor, but because of some trivial stipulations, I was denied this medicine that helps me live an enjoyable life.

My sister is an RN and really helped me through this difficult time, and told me about Q Health. I was a little skeptical, because after all, it’s not a traditional health care plan. But she told that many people who come into her clinic have discount health care cards. Being that I had no insurance, I looked into the Premium Plan. It seemed too good to be true; I thought, what were the odds that there were legitimate doctors in my neighborhood who accepted these cards? Luckily, Q Health makes it easy by having a simple provider search engine, where you can find exactly what you’re looking for in your neighborhood. I am so thankful for Q Health and their user-friendly site!

I am a small business owner. I love saying that because it took a lot of work to get my business up and running. First I had to come up with the concept, then craft an airtight business plan, find investors who believed in my idea, find a location, start the build out, and finally start hiring staff. All that work was extremely exhausting, but in the end, it was extremely fulfilling to see my idea come to completion. I’ve always wanted to be my own boss, and now I finally am! But there’s one glaring problem you face when you own your own company. It’s up to you to buy your own health insurance.

Under my previous employer I had a pretty decent HMO, but there was I could afford the Co-pays of an HMO without being under my previous employer. I also need prescriptions and those are insanely expensive if you don’t have adequate coverage. That’s when I found discount health care from Q health. I signed up for the Premium plan and was ecstatic to find that I was able to see the doctor of my choice, and get the prescriptions I needed to function, all at a reasonable price. I couldn’t be happier with Q health and will continue the sing the praises of a discount medical plan!

Despite the news of the new healthcare legislation passing, there are still many people who are uninsured or underinsured, who would benefit greatly form a discount medical plan. Even those with insurance, who need help with skyrocketing prescription costs can benefit from a discount health plan.

President Obama is eager to get his health plan rolling. While certain aspects of the plan – like children up to age 26 being able to be covered under their parents’ plan – taking effect this year, other parts of the law will not make it into practice until well after the President’s first term is over, which could augur poorly for chances of re-election.

One aspect of the law involves state led discount health care to provide competitive rates to allow people to choose the best discount medical plan. To get the ball rolling, the President has proposed creating an Independent Payment Advisory Board for controlling Medicare spending.

The goal would be to limit how much money is spent on insuring an increasingly aging population, with what is projected to be an unsustainable national debt. Medicare and other forms of discount health care would be effectively run by the Board, which would consist of 15 members who hold six year terms. Unlike the current Medicare Board, this panel would be able to implement its decisions, unless Congress rejects them within 30 days. The president could also veto the solution, and a 2/3 vote in Congress could override that veto.

In any event, this plan to improve discount medical plan efficiency will take time to implement, despite President Obama’s attempts at immediacy.
With the new health care bill enacted, researchers speculate that the U.S. will soon experience a shortage of doctors. The shortage will come mostly in the areas of general practitioners and primary care doctors, who are necessary for treating those with general medical health plans. . A shortage of doctors could mean longer wait times and even more limited access to health care. The new health care bill is supposed to encourage applicants to these areas of medicine by adding a 10% Medicare boost to their salaries.

While last year four new medical schools enrolled nearly 200 students and twelve existing med schools added 150 collective spots, the problem comes from a shortage of residencies. The U.S. has 954,000 doctors today, and 110,000 residency positions according to the AAMC . Medicare pays hospitals to train and pay these residents. In 1997, however, Congress enacted a cap on subsidies for residents. A change on this cap didn’t find its way into the new health care bill, unfortunately. But the law does address the issue by moving the nation’s many unfilled residency spots to primary care residencies.

The ultimate goal is to lure medical students away from the glamour of specialties. Primary care physicians will be increasingly necessary for the government’s medical health plans and discount health care.

Today, more young doctors are shying away from opening private practices due to rising costs and the added work of running their own businesses. Instead they are moving to hospitals to employ them for salaried wages.

This means that much of the patient doctor relationship has, and will continue to erode, but ideally, patients will see better discount health care as records move seamlessly within a hospital.

Many a health discount plan help to give medical health plans to people who could not afford them. Rising insurance premiums controlled by the government often create monopolies in the health insurance industry. The newly passed legislation will likely reduce costs on discount health care, but will also encourage more doctors to move to hospitals and away from private practices.

Because many specialty surgeons and private practitioners have to face rising insurance premiums for their patients, they do not see much of the money they charge; healthcare uninsured makes it so that having a private practice does not benefit them. Plus, many private health insurance providers cut reimbursements to specialty doctors.

Quality will improve for the general health discount plan, and costs will lower, but for doctors,
being the days of being their own bosses are limited.

The passage of the health care bill affords more Americans the chance to have a cheap health care plan. Whereas before, many people were unqualified for medical health plans, now they cannot be denied and are eligible for all kinds of medical health plans. Previously, discount health care was the closest these people could come to getting the help they needed.

Within a few months such changes as the rejection of lifetime limits on coverage and children’s ability to stay on their parent’s healthcare until they are 26 will take effect.

Unfortunately the bill was unanimously voted against by Republicans, and that means that a divided house will continue to sit and debate when the bill goes to the Senate later this week. Democrats earned the leverage they needed by noting that none of the bill’s monies will go to abortions, which convinced key voters to vote ‘aye.’

Now that healthcare uninsured is made possible, the medical health plans already in effect will become even fairer and more well rounded. President Obama said amidst predictions that his presidency will fail and the Congress will fall to the Republicans that this will, “prove a victory for common sense.”

Health care is a hot-button issue right now. There are millions of Americans without health insurance and many are going without life-saving medications because they simply can’t afford to pay for them. No one should be deprived of proper medical care and the prescriptions that keep them alive. Thankfully, there are many viable alternatives to traditional health insurance.

By joining a discount health plan like Qualified Health, you can really cash in on valuable savings. Areas in which you can save are hospitalization, doctor visits, dental care, prescription drugs, optometry services, hearing services, chiropractics and much more.

In addition to the savings, theirs is no need to file a claim form. Many providers will give you the network price immediately during your visit, unless they prefer to have a repriced bill mailed.
One the best benefits of a discount health plan in comparison to traditional insurance, is that pre-existing conditions or age don’t disqualify you from getting the coverage you need. There are no limitations on the usage either.

All in all, a discount health plan like Qualified Health is a viable option for anyone who isn’t able to get the medical treatment and care they deserve. For more information on Qualified Health, be sure to visit www.qhealth.com.
My aunt was laid-off from her job, which she had been dedicated to for 25 years. Needless to say she was devastated.

Losing your job is an incredibly traumatic experience as it is, and if you’re sick and rely on your company’s medical plan, you’re losing more than a job—you’re losing your health and livelihood.
In 2009, there were approximately 2 million lost jobs nationwide. This means that many people lost their benefits, or were forced to downgrade their level of coverage to be able to afford the premiums.

Fortunately, we are seeing some relief this year. National job growth is still slow, but steady. But despite the slight job growth, there are still millions without medical health plans or are severely under-insured. If you find yourself looking for a cheap health plan or just discounts on doctor visits and prescriptions, you should most definitely look into Qualified Health Care. They offer discount medical plans for those with existing coverage that doesn’t cover everything, or cheaper alternatives for individuals with no insurance who are looking for a way to still go to the doctor. For those individuals, Qualified Health has a plan that averages at $88 a month.

Qualified Health was there for my aunt after her layoff, and now she’s able to rest easy and get back to the job hunt because she knows that her health is in good hands.
As insurance premiums are on the rise, many people simply can’t afford to pay the expensive premiums. But although health care costs are incredibly expensive, it’s almost mind-blowing how expensive doctor visits, treatment, medication, and hospitalization are without some form of a health plan.

The fastest growing age group that is without health insurance is the 20-something bracket. Deemed by insurance companies as the “Invincibles”, many in this category can barely afford to make rent, so doctor visits are usually out of the question. The common consensus in this age group is that they are young, healthy, and rarely go to the doctor, it’s more logical to roll the dice and go without health care. But no matter how healthy you are, accidents happen everyday. So looking into a cheap health plan is better than having nothing at all.

It’s best to be prepared when they do happen to avoid future financial hardship. Discount health care from Qualified Health is a cost-effective solution for individuals struggling to pay bills, and can't even begin to think about a health premium. For a low monthly fee, you get a discount card that is valid at over 360,000 qualified physicians and medical centers nationwide. You can save hundreds of dollars on prescriptions and doctor visits, and you don’t have to sign up or expensive plans with high-premiums.
Since I graduated school, I was lucky enough to get my first job as a freelance writer for a local newspaper.

After graduating, I’ve had to take on tons of new responsibilities like cooking for myself, meeting deadlines, and my least favorite, paying my own bills.

But my parents raised me to be independent so I’m enjoying the freedom and the feeling I get when I do things on my own. But unfortunately, since I’m not classified as a dependent anymore, I could no longer be on my parent’s insurance plan.

To make matters worse, I'm a freelancer, and although the freedom of freelance work is great, it doesn't offer health benefits.

I knew it wasn’t smart to go without insurance. There was no way I could afford to pay out of pocket if I had an emergency and needed to go to the doctor. I also needed a way to get my asthma medication, which is incredibly expensive without insurance. Being that I’m a runner in my free-time, I really can’t live without my mediation--I knew I needed a cheap health care plan.

I asked a fellow freelancer about what he does for his health care needs, and he told me about qhealth.com and their affordable medical health plans for uninsured and under-insured individuals who were looking for discount health care. I went online and signed up and for plan with a low-monthly payment. Now I can worry less about how I’m going to pay for my medication and more getting more freelance gigs.
As a student, it’s hard for me to worry about health care. But when I was diagnosed with IBD, I realized that if I want to be comfortable and healthy, I need discount health care. When I had to have a colonoscopy I knew it was going to be expensive, so I started researching discount health plans. Of the many that came up, lots wouldn’t accept me because of my pre-existing condition. Luckily, Quality Health took me under their wing, and now I don’t have to worry about absurdly expensive medical health plans.

Especially when I’m feeling stressed out and worried, I just remember that at least I don’t have to pay hospital bills or the coverage for an expensive health plan. My discount medical plan has saved my financial situation, and allows me to not have to worry about studying and making crazy amounts of money.

If you’re looking for discount health care, or even a discount medical plan, it may be time to move toward the idea of healthcare uninsured. With Quality Health Care, you can pay a flat monthly fee to have all of your health needs met. Discount health care is affordable and is not insurance. You choose a discount medical plan that provides for all of your unique medical needs!
As a struggling small business owner, I could no longer afford the ever increasing costs of health insurance. Then things took a turn for the worse when my family was struck with more bad news. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I realized that I had to change to discount health care – so I contacted Qualified Health.

This is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The amount I pay for prescriptions is equivalent to my previous HMO co-payments. Recently I was hospitalized for a mastectomy. Unfortunately they found a positive lymph node and that’s not good. They say that the five year survival rates for people like me are pretty low because the cancer has spread, and is still in my body.

But then I called my discount medical plan and thankfully, all of the people at Customer Service never failed to assist me in every way. I am not going to give up though. I believe that my attitude can help to save me. It all starts with a positive outlook. After that it helps that I have a discount health plan that I can trust. Now, I advise all my clients to contact Qualified Health to enroll.
If you're comparing a regular insurance plan with a top-notch discount health plan, you're going to see some similarities and some differences. Or actually one similarity, and plenty of differences. Because although both plans probably cover the same basic medical expenses in addition to other costs like dental, vision, and hearing, only the discount plan is affordable and accessible.

Unlike greedy insurance companies, most medical plan providers are actually in the business to help people, especially those folks that have been turned away by insurers or are simply unable to afford coverage. Websites like www.Qhealth.com typically offer two levels of payment, meaning that there's an affordable option out there for everyone.

As for accessibility, a good discount medical plan will never turn you away because of a preexisting condition. After all, people with illnesses and disabilities need healthcare more than anyone! Even if your citizenship is in question, many discount plans are still willing to offer coverage. Plus, unlike insurance companies, healthcare services provide reliable, friendly support from staff members willing to advocate for you. And there's no comparing to that.
Many people are constantly looking for discount health care, a medical health plan that offers a discount for visits your local physician, dental work, hospital visits, prescription drugs or any other medical needs. A lot of people actually hate having insurance because of the price it costs to the pocket and time and what a lot of people end up doing is joining up with a program that has a discount health plan. This is really nice because it's affordable as it saves you a ton of money on doctor visits, prescriptions, dental work, vaccinations, etc.

A few years back I had insurance, it cost me around $200 a month, which doesn't seem like a lot, but it did add up! Especially when you are a healthy individual. So I started looking into a discount health care plan which costs a lot less and help you in financial stress, medical stress, and health stress.

You still will pay a fee every month, but I can guarantee it's not going to be $200 a month! You get the same care and it’s a whole lot better than not having insurance at all. If you can't afford insurance, at least take a look at our site and see how much you can save, what healthcare you can get, and how much it's going to cost you every month.
For low income families, getting health insurance can be next to impossible, as there is no money for health care if the employer does not provide it. The same can be said for students who are working while going to school, as most of their money is dedicated to education costs and worrying about paying a $300 a month health care bill is just something these income brackets can't afford. This is where a discount medical plan can save the day. With discount health care, for just a small sum each month, you can have the protection you need.

While discount health plans aren't insurance, they do help by offering discount health services, so instead of having to pay $60 for each doctor visit, you can pay a percentage of that, just as if you were insured.
